What The Latest ‘Divide and Conquer’ Protests Say About America

Dear America, What The Hell? This newfound trend of violent riots is the perfect picture of just how many Americans are taking the “divide and conquer” bait to a new extreme, and it’s absolutely ridiculous.

I don’t care if you’re a proud white nationalist or if you call yourself a member of Antifa, there are a few basic principles both of your gangs seem to not get.

Let’s be clear… Harming other people because they don’t share your skin color or your ideology is wrong. Destroying property is wrong. And tearing down historical landmarks does not erase history.

We have the right to protest in this country, and every time you turn a peaceful protest into a violent riot, you are helping to ensure that the Police State will only continue to grow. You may think that’s a good idea, but did you know that when protests in Charlottesville turned violent, police were ordered to stand down?

As was evidenced this weekend, this type of senseless behavior is not only good for the police state, it’s also good for the mainstream media. If it bleeds, it leads, and all of sudden a possible nuclear attack from North Korea wasn’t such a big deal with compared to crazy clashes in Virginia.

I’m not going to say that racism doesn’t exist, because it does. But I am going to say that when the media starts using this “divide and conquer” technique to stir up public rage, that is when you should start paying attention.

There is nothing your government wants more than for you to be distracted by events such as the recent protests in Charlottesville. Can you imagine if Americans actually came together to protest the massive number of civilians the U.S. is killing in the Middle East?

It’s not about “left vs. right,” and it’s not about “white vs. black.” At the end of the day, it’s about “tyranny vs. liberty,” and “the government vs. the people.” Until the American people choose to grasp that concept, we will continue to see division and destruction.
