No matter who loses in 2020, the establishment still wins. This election is projected to cost a record $14 BILLION, and the side that isn’t chosen will spend the next 4 years raising money for their “resistance,” while both ignore the American voters they claim to serve…
On today’s edition of ‘Why Isn’t Anyone Talking About This?’ the 2020 Election season is finally coming to a close, and already, tens of millions of Americans have cast their vote for the next President of the United States. It seems like everywhere you turn, there is someone telling you to VOTE, and that the future of this country depends on who you decide is the lesser of two evils.
Democrats say that Donald Trump is the worst and that literally anyone in the White House would be better than him. Republicans say Joe Biden will enact a “radical Socialist” takeover that will change the US as we know it. But the one thing they don’t talk about is that no matter who loses, the establishment still wins.
In order to understand this, simply follow the money. Despite millions of Americans losing their jobs, losing their businesses, and standing to lose their homes in 2020, reports have noted that “The amount spent on both the presidential and congressional campaigns will hit nearly $14 billion, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.“
Nearly $14 BILLION spent on fighting over the available seats in Congress, and who will occupy the White House for the next four years. If that sounds absurd, it’s because it is!
If the Democrats lose the 2020 election, then they get to spend the next four years rallying against Trump and raising money to “oppose” him. If the Republicans lose, then they can spend the next four years saying the results weren’t valid and raising money to win in 2024.
The reality is that Trump and Biden have more in common with each other than they do with you, or I, or any of the Americans who going out to vote for them, hoping something will change in the US—and that is something everyone should be talking about.
